    Day 1

    Arrival in Nairobi

    At the airport you are warmly welcomed by your personal guide. During the transfer into the city you get your first impressions of the vibrant Kenyan capital as you drive through Nairobi to your hotel. Once there, you can relax after the flight and prepare for the safari adventure ahead.

    Day 2

    Drive Through the Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha

    After breakfast you visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can get up close to these gentle giants and even feed them from a raised platform. Later you drive down through the Great Rift Valley towards Lake Naivasha at the foot of Mount Longonot. This lake was once the landing site for the first flying boat passengers of Imperial Airways in East Africa.

    After a late lunch at the camp or lodge, you head out on a boat trip on Lake Naivasha to observe the many bird species and look for hippos along the shores.

    On this day you can also choose to visit Hell’s Gate National Park for cycling or game viewing, or optionally explore Mount Longonot National Park and hike up to the volcanic crater for sweeping views over the valley.

    Day 3

    Safari in the Masai Mara with Elephants, Giraffes and Lions

    Today you drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, whose name means “spotted plains”. This world‑famous reserve is home to one of the highest concentrations of large mammals in Africa and forms the northern extension of the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem, renowned for the spectacular annual wildebeest migration.

    In the late afternoon you set off on a game drive across rolling savannahs dotted with shrubs and thickets. You may encounter elephants, towering giraffes, prides of lions, countless impalas, topis, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, as well as an impressive variety of birdlife – around 450 species have been recorded here.

    Day 4

    Children Enjoy the Young Explorer Club

    This day is dedicated to the younger travellers with the Young Explorer Club. Over two days, children learn all about the environment and nature through hands‑on activities. These carefully designed experiences are supervised by a friendly and experienced Maasai guide who makes sure the sessions are both fun and enriching.

    It is a wonderful opportunity for children to discover Maasai culture in an authentic way while being immersed in nature in an intimate tented camp setting.

    Return to Nairobi

    After breakfast you leave the Masai Mara and drive back to Nairobi through the landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. On arrival you are taken either to the airport for your onward or return flight, or you can continue your journey with an optional beach holiday on Kenya’s coast.
