Day 1
Welcome to Turkey!
Points of Interest : Kayseri, Cappadocia (Roman province)
On arrival at Kayseri airport you are greeted by your local representative and transferred by car to your cave hotel in Cappadocia. Once checked in, enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace to rest after the journey or start exploring the unique surroundings independently.

Day 2
Route between valleys

Today’s hike begins in the White Valley, where you descend into the heart of the valley to admire its spectacular volcanic rock formations on the way to Uchisar. After reaching the village, you walk up to Uchisar Castle for panoramic views over Cappadocia. The route then continues on foot through Pigeon Valley, following its cliffs dotted with dovecotes carved into the rock, until you reach the town of Goreme. Walking time is around 3–4 hours, with transfers by car between the hotel and the start or end of the trails as needed.

Day 3
Hike through Ihlara Canyon

After breakfast a vehicle takes you to the village of Ihlara, the starting point of today’s trek. You follow the course of the canyon, surrounded by steep rock walls and lush vegetation, discovering rock-hewn churches and monasteries along the way. The hike continues until you reach the underground city of Ozluce, where you explore the archaeological site with its distinctive cave houses, tunnels and storage rooms carved into the earth. Walking time is about 4–5 hours, with road transfers to and from the canyon.

Day 4
Between valleys and villages

You are driven to Kyzilvade to begin a scenic trek through the magnificent Güllüdere Valley, known for its pinkish rock formations and hidden chapels. The trail leads through the village of Cavusin, with its abandoned rock houses, and continues to Pasabag Valley, famous for its fairy chimneys, where you visit churches and mosques carved into the stone. Afterwards, a short transfer takes you to the town of Avanos, where you have free time to wander its streets and visit some of the local craft workshops, renowned for pottery and traditional arts. Walking time is around 4 hours.

Day 5
To the village of Mustafapasha

Today you transfer to the Golgoli Valley to start the day’s trek towards Gomeda Valley. Along the way you visit several monasteries and churches carved into the rock, set amid dramatic scenery. The route then continues to the Uzengi Valley, where you pause at a natural mineral-water spring. At the end of the valley a vehicle picks you up for the short transfer to the village of Mustafapasha. Here you are welcomed into a local home for lunch, offering a genuine insight into village life and regional cuisine. Walking time is around 3 hours.

Day 6
End of the trip
