Day 1
Welcome to Bali

After your long-haul journey, your private driver meets you at Denpasar airport and takes you straight to your eco-friendly boutique resort near Tanah Lot. Check in to your private pool villa and take the rest of the day to unwind, swim and recover from the flight in a tranquil tropical setting.

Day 2
Guided Walk to Tanah Lot Temple

Enjoy a relaxed morning at the resort before meeting your guide in the afternoon for a walk towards the famous Tanah Lot Temple. Along the way, your guide shares insights into local plants, animals and everyday Balinese life, offering a gentle introduction to the island’s culture.
Tanah Lot is particularly magical at sunset, when the sea and sky glow around the offshore temple. After soaking up the atmosphere and taking photos, you return to the hotel where a tasty dinner awaits you.

Scenic Transfer from Tanah Lot to Ubud

In the late morning your private driver picks you up from Tanah Lot and takes you through Bali’s lush countryside towards Ubud. On the way you can choose to stop at Taman Ayun Temple and take part together in an authentic Balinese purification ritual – a meaningful experience for couples.
Upon arrival in Ubud, check into your new hotel and settle into your Wooden Suite amid rice fields and tropical gardens.

Day 4
Balinese Cooking Class and Optional Goa Gajah Visit

Your day begins with a visit to a local market, where you stroll between colourful stalls, learn about seasonal ingredients and glimpse daily life for Balinese families.
You are then welcomed into the home of Ayu and Made for a private cooking lesson at lunchtime or dinner. Dressed in traditional attire, you learn the key principles and recipes of Balinese cuisine and cook a variety of typical dishes. Afterwards, relax in the garden and savour the meal you have prepared, noting everything down in your recipe notebook to take home.
On the way back to the hotel you can make an optional stop at Goa Gajah, the “Elephant Cave”. This 9th‑century temple complex features impressive rock carvings, bathing pools and a mystical cave entrance to explore.

Day 5
Community-Based Experience at PKP Community Centre

In the morning your driver takes you north of Ubud for a day focused on community and culture. You visit the PKP community, an organisation that offers vital support to women in Bali, particularly divorced women seeking a safe space and new opportunities.
You meet the founder, Ibu Sari, who shares the inspiring story behind the centre and its mission. This is a touching encounter that offers a deeper understanding of Balinese society.
During a 2.5‑hour food experience, you enjoy traditional Balinese dishes and can join the PKP team in a cooking class held in their newly renovated, partnership-supported kitchen.
A guided garden walk (around 25 minutes) introduces you to Balinese flora and fauna and explains the importance of nature in local culture and traditions. You see native plants, learn about medicinal species and discover how the project has improved paths and accessibility, including wheelchair access in the garden.
You also take part in an offering ceremony (around 25 minutes), an important element of Balinese Hindu culture. You prepare and present floral offerings and learn the meaning behind this beautiful practice, which many visitors experience as spiritual, meditative or simply fascinating.
The excursion lasts about 4 hours; your driver is available for up to 8 hours total today.

Day 6
Explore Ubud by Classic VW Convertible

Today you discover the highlights around Ubud in a vintage VW convertible. Day 7
Leisure Day in Ubud

This day is entirely yours to spend as you wish. You can seek out quiet corners amid the rice paddies or dive into the lively town atmosphere – the pace is up to you.

Day 8
Off to Paradise: Gili Air

After breakfast your private driver collects you and drives you to the port of Padangbai on Bali’s east coast. From there you board a speedboat to the small island of Gili Air. On arrival, walk or take a local transfer to your hotel and check in.
The rest of the day is free to settle into island life – sip a fresh coconut on the beach, swim in the clear water and enjoy a romantic sunset over the sea.

Boat Back to Bali and Transfer to Sanur

After breakfast you check out and head to the small harbour on Gili Air to board the speedboat back to Bali. On arrival in Padangbai your private driver is waiting to take you to your hotel in Sanur on Bali’s east coast.
Along the way there is the option to visit a bat cave temple and a traditional market, adding a final cultural touch to your island adventure before you reach the beach town of Sanur and your private pool villa.
