    Day 1

    Arrival in Colombo and transfer to Nuwara Eliya

    Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you are welcomed by a local representative who assists you with the transfer to Nuwara Eliya, the picturesque hill station known as “Little England”. Nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka’s central highlands, it charms visitors with its cool climate, colonial architecture and rolling tea-covered hills that evoke the British countryside.

    In the evening, settle into your hotel and enjoy dinner on site.

    Day 2

    Horton Plains trek and journey to Kandy

    The day starts early, with departure around 05:00 for an adventurous trek in Horton Plains National Park. You follow the trails across misty grasslands and cloud forests to the famous World’s End, a sheer cliff that offers a breathtaking panoramic view over the lowlands when the sky is clear.

    After the trek, continue towards Kandy. On the way you visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the production process of some of the world’s finest teas, and stop at Ramboda Falls to admire one of Sri Lanka’s scenic waterfalls.

    In the evening, attend a show of traditional Kandyan dances, an energetic performance featuring colorful costumes, drums and fire displays that introduces you to Sinhalese culture.

    Day 3

    Kandy city tour and Batik experience

    Today is dedicated to discovering Kandy. Start with its lively local markets, where stalls are piled high with spices, fruits, vegetables and textiles. Continue to the Temple of the Tooth, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka, which houses the revered relic of the Buddha’s tooth. From Kandy View Point you enjoy a sweeping panorama over the lake and the city surrounded by hills.

    In the afternoon, visit a Batik workshop to learn about this traditional wax-resist dyeing technique used to create colorful designs on fabric. You have the chance to create your own Batik piece and interact with the artisans. This visit directly supports the local community, with payment made on site to the owner of the workshop.

    Day 4

    Bahirawakanda Temple and Dambulla Cave Temples, transfer to Habarana

    Leave Kandy and make a stop at Bahirawakanda Temple, known for its impressive seated Buddha statue over 26 meters high. From the hilltop terrace you get a wide view across Kandy and the surrounding hills.

    Continue towards Habarana, pausing on the way to visit the Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This complex of five rock caves is richly decorated with statues and colorful murals depicting the Buddha and various deities, making it one of Sri Lanka’s most remarkable religious sites.

    Arrive in Habarana and check in at your hotel, where dinner is served.

    Day 5

    Sigiriya rock fortress and transfer to Trincomalee

    Set off early to explore Sigiriya, the spectacular rock fortress that rises about 200 meters above the surrounding jungle. Known as the Lion Rock and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sigiriya is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks. Climb its roughly 1,200 steps to discover ancient frescoes, terraced gardens and the remains of the royal palace, and enjoy an unforgettable panoramic view from the summit.

    After the visit, drive on to Trincomalee on the east coast, a relaxed seaside town famed for its long sandy beaches and clear turquoise sea. On arrival, settle into your beachfront hotel and unwind.
